Costume Jewelry

St John Antiques has two cases filled with costume jewelry, vintage compacts, and purses.  Frances shops for and hand picks the costume jewelry including “no name” and signed pieces.  Some of the signed pieces include Weiss, Kramer, Eisenberg, Beucher, Haskell, Julianna (not always signed), Warner, Chanel (only one set of ear rings) and others we cant remember.  Point is, we carry good costume jewelry. 

The purses fall into a couple categories:  early 20th century beaded purses, colorful mesh purses made in the 20s and 30s by Mandalian and Whiting & Davis, and evening bags from the 30s thru the 60s. 

Our compact collection include Elgin, Evans, Cody, Volupte, Stratton and Dorset, and all are in great condition.
